The city of Baghdad includes many recreational activities, distributed among open green spaces that include, public parks, large and small parks, zoos, green belts, social entertainment services, cultural entertainment services, archaeological areas, museums, sports and entertainment arenas, but the city of Baghdad is still suffering There is a great shortage in the spatial and numerical aspect of these services, which is not commensurate in terms of the actual needs of the population and the area of the city, and with the availability of several spaces within the spatial space of the city, as a result of prior planning or the presence of cheap lands, but the continuous increase in the population, necessitates the urban growth of the city and exploitation Unused spaces, the city loses the empty spaces that are an outlet for it, in addition to the encroachment of other land uses, randomly and unthoughtfully at the expense of recreational use.
