the research discusses Professor Cemil Aydin’s perspective about the Islamic world through his book: The Idea of the Muslim World; he views it as a modern idea born of geopolitical cupidities.

He highlights the factors that led to the emergence of this modern idea from his perspective as well as the reasons that drove him to have this perspective.

Then the researcher proceeds to criticize Aydin’s perspective through scientific reality by Muslim scholars and intellectuals, and practical reality by leaders and politicians, as well as the peoples of the Muslim world today, which were represented in world-wide international organizations.
