Abstract EN

Given the historical organizational approach to the concept of control, it has always been in the realm of authority and power.

Sometimes corresponding to it, as is the case with Max Weber in his trilogy of power and its sources of legitimacy, in which, according to him, sources are considered to be a valuable background for power.

Control could also be seen as the equivalent for power or authority, as Amitai Etzioni did in his trilogy of types of power.

Modernists treated the concept of control from three angles, first, as an antithesis and in opposition to individual freedoms.

And second, as a distillation of areas of uncertainty, which are spaces of power and freedom that are seized by individuals whenever they have the opportunity or interest to.

The third perspective is represented by those with cultural control.

In our research, we will try to capture the history of the theory, using the concept of control as a philosophical centerpiece around which the rest of the organizational ideas are centered.
