Abstract EN

This study aims to know the importance of small and medium enterprises in economic development, as these institutions contribute significantly to the diversification of economic activities, and play an important role in the promotion of exports to foreign markets, and we highlighted the reality of foreign trade in Algeria.

In addition to identifying the nature of the obstacles that hinder the development of exports of small and medium enterprises.

We concluded that the exports of Algerian small and medium enterprises suffer from huge weakness; it due to the absence of long term strategies as well as the difficulties they face and that must be confronted and overcome which requires them enhance Competitiveness .
