The current study aimed to know the level of self-efficacy among a sample of adolescent smokers and non-smokers, and to know the most prevalent mother treatment style, as well as to search for differences in both self-efficacy and mother's treatment methods between smoking and non-smoking adolescents, as well as knowing the type of relationship between self-efficacy and methods of treatment The study was conducted on a sample of adolescents (226 adolescents: 115 smokers and 111 non-smokers) in the city of Batna, based on the descriptive approach and using the Parental Treatment Methods Scale (Amani Abdel-Maksoud) and the Self-Efficacy Scale (Jerusalem and Schwarzer 1986The study concluded: the high level of self-efficacy among the study sample, and it also found that the most prevalent mother treatment method is: the normal treatment method, followed by excess protection, control and control, then discrimination, and in the last volatility among adolescent smokers, the normal treatment method, then excess protection, and fluctuation and then follow them Control and control, and the last differentiation method among non-smoking adolescents, and concluded that there were no differences between smokers and non-smokers in self-efficacy, and also found that there were no statistically significant differences between smoking and non-smoking adolescents in the dimensions of mother treatment methods except in the dimension of the differentiation method in favor of a sample Smoking adolescents, and the lack of a statistically significant correlation between the dimensions of mother's treatment methods and self-efficacy
