The Municipal Law 1110 introduced a number of reforms covering all areas at the municipal l evel.

As for the issue of reducing corruption, the legislature stipulated the responsibility of ma yors and municipal people's assembly members as a mechanism to curb its spread.

The Study of the manifestations of local corruption that occurred in Algerian municipalities during the period of the entry into force of the previous Law Number 90/08 an d the measures adopted by the Ministry of the Interior to curb local corruption, and then addre ss the role and effectiveness of the reforms introduced by Law number 11/10 in reducing the manifestations of local corruption at the municipal level
