Abstract EN

Poverty is considered as a complex and a cruel phenomenon in all sides.

the misery that the poor face and the lack of finding the appropriate solutions to eliminate this phenomenon from its roots makes it exceeding one generation and may become inherited, especially in poor and poorest developing countries.

hence, developing and developed countries alike are fighting against this phenomenon which is existed in different proportions in these countries.

this paper presents the approach of Omar Ibn Abdal Aziz in the eradication of poverty in a short period of time and what are the learned lessons from this outstanding experience that made the funds of Muslims enough and overflowing.

this enlightened vision in dealing with poverty seriously and rooting out the corruption leading to it in an effective way is one of the best lessons that should be considered and included in the corrective and development policies in all countries of the world, especially the poor ones.
