This research is entitled "the Trabelsi song and its role in development of performance of popular rhythms (modern popular rhythm as a model) "aims to introduce the popular rhythms that accompany the song in Tripoli city, which is considered an original singing pattern, the researcher utilized development of performance for popular rhythm types in terms of expressive aspects, also the researcher notated the majority of popular rhythmic styles which performed through the Trabelsi song in its basic styles , by using some models of rhythms and popular instruments, which are the modern popular rhythm, the researcher used the descriptive approach.

the researcher has come to significant results regarding popular rhythms and the important role that the Trabelsi song contributed to the popular rhythms development and the ways of performance, and creating new patterns inspired by the Libyan legacy which abounds in so many popular styles in all Libyan cities, in addition to using modern musical instruments, the research concluded with some recommendations, resources list, and research references.
