Abstract EN

The aim of the study is to illustrate the problem of activating modern of payment tools in the Algerian banking system, despite efforts to introduce ICT into banking, modernize the financial and banking sector and adopt e-banking in recent years, However, there are obstacles that have left the Algerian banking system far behind, especially with regard to electronic payment mechanisms, which are still of limited use.

The study concluded that most financial transactions were conducted in cash, owing to a combination of the country's economic and monetary factors; Determine how and mechanisms citizens use to dispose of their financial assets.
