This study aims to introduce concepts about economic intelligence, highlighting the role it plays in enhancing the competitiveness of economies, to achieve this we have conducted a descriptive and analytical study of the Japanese experience in the field of economic intelligence, by presenting the advantages and characteristics of the Japanese model of economic intelligence, its actors, and its role in enhancing the competitiveness of the Japanese economy, then we presented the reality of economic intelligence in Algeria, the study concluded that it is necessary to take advantage of the secrets of the success of the Japanese experience and try to apply it with what suits the economic reality of Algeria.
