Residential neighborhood gangs are among the negative and dangerous phenomena that have spread and increased recently and dramatically, and in their activity threaten public security, the safety of society, its youth and its values, especially since their deviant behaviors have contributed to a record escalation in the rates of criminal attacks and the use of white weapons, as well as the abuse of contraband.

Therefore, in this article, the researcher tries to study this phenomenon from a psychological perspective, in terms of its causes and factors contributing to its spread, and then presents the most important measures and recommendations that contribute to its prevention and control.
