Abstract EN

This paper does spotlights on role of the Orientalists in field of translation of Holy Quran.

That role was started during age of the crusades in Andalusia, when Peter the venerable in the twelfth century directed the first attempt of Quran's translation to Latin language.

We should notice that, this work was not accurate because the translators made several linguistic mistakes.

Unfortunately, attempt was base of upcoming translations of Holy Quran to modern European languages languages.
