This paper does spotlights on problematic case study of Nur ad-Din Mahmoud (1146-1174), the outstanding leader of Islamic Jihad movement in age of the crusades, for example, we don't have contemporary historian wrote his biography, also, several historians didn't realize the importance of balance of power period which was led by this leader, on the other hand, his reign was between the fall of Crusades state Edessa and decline of latine kingdom of Jerusalem, at the same time, he couldn't seize any one of the crusades states, in addition to that, we notice interference his history with Saladin.
