Abstract EN

The COVID-19 pandemic has cast a shadow over the world in all its institutions, including universities.

therefore, a trend has been taken to apply hybrid education as one of the innovative approaches for the sustainability of university education.

staff members play a prime role in the success of hybrid education.

so, their level of satisfaction is a requirement to ensure its continued success.

this research aims to determine the level of staff members, satisfaction with hybrid education at Damietta university during the COVID-19 pandemic.

it followed the descriptive approach, using the questionnaire as one of its tools.

it has applied to a random sample (314) of staff members representing the humanitarian and scientific faculties sector at Damietta university.

while the faculties of specific education, education, and Physical education represent the humanities colleges sector, the sciences, nursing, and agriculture colleges represent the scientific colleges sector.

the results showed ; some satisfaction with hybrid education at Damietta university during the pandemic, and the sample members also faced administrative, educational, and digital difficulties and challenges.

in addition to the presence of statistically significant differences between the estimates of the sample members of the faculty members at Damietta university towards satisfaction with hybrid education due to the variables of gender, college sector, degree, and experience in using education.

hybrid education, experience in using digital technologies, difficulties and challenges of hybrid education, and there are no statistically significant differences between the estimates of the sample members due to the variable of teaching experience.

furthermore, the research revealed the proposals of the sample members to enhance the application of hybrid education in the future.

also, it reached a proposed vision to enhance the satisfaction of staff members at Damietta university with hybrid education.
