Abstract EN

This research sheds the light on a great scholar who did not receive the attention he deserves.

This scholar is the great Imam Abu Al-Hasan Bin Al-Mufadhal Al-Maqdisi, who was tutored by a group of dignified and well-known scholars.

He had left clear marks in a variety of scientific fields through his numerous useful publications that enriched the Islamic library and served as sources and references to many scientists and Hadith exegetes.

To this are added his remarkable achievements in Al-Hadeeth sciences.

Based on the above, this study may be considered as a scientific research about this Imam, revealing his life and his scientific contributions, and granting him the position he deserves among other scholars of the honorable hadith.
