Abstract EN

The study aims at identifying the impact of job design dimension (diversity of skills, identity of work, importance of work, feedback, and independence) on contextual performance.

the researcher used the descriptive method and analysis.

the instrument was distributed to the sample of the study which consists of 248 individual selected intentionally from the population of the study.

the study reached a set of results, the most important of which is the impact of the design of the work on the performance of the contextual performance in the Jordanian service ministries, and the most influential dimension is the feedback in comparison to other dimensions the study recommended to enhance the redesign of job design and to intensify efforts to promote the positive aspects related to the dimensions of the design of the work and to enhance the motivations of workers towards the practice of contextual performance.
