The digital educational content, enhanced by text and video resources, is one of the most important factors for the success of e-learning programs, if the ability to manage them properly.

therefore, this study aims to present an innovative way to build an catalog of educational resources for the bachelor’s program in the department of information and knowledge technologies at al-Mustansiriya university, provided that it responds to the requirements of e-learning programs and is compatible in terms of actual application with all scientific and humanitarian disciplines.

the study used to build the catalog the content management system [Joomla] with the addition [books library].

after implementation and testing, the study concluded that the system is very suitable for this type of catalogs.
