Abstract EN

The current research aimed at identifying the level of life quality and its relationship to self-efficacy at the professors of Kirkuk university according to the variables of gender and years of service.

the researcher adopted the scale of (a|-Sayed, 2018) to measure life quality and the scale of (al-Mayali and al- Musawi, 2011) to measure self-activity.

After making sure of the validity and stability, the two scales were applied to a random sample of university professors, which reached at (120) teachers, with (60) male and (60) female teachers from the University of Kirkuk, and after analyzing the data using the statistical package (SPSS), the following results have appeared : The professors of the University of Kirkuk enjoy a high level of life quality and a high level of self-efficacy, and there were statistically significant differences in the life quality scale according to the gender variable in favour of males, and there is no statistically significant difference for the gender variable in the self-efficacy scale, and there were no significant differences in the variable of years of service in the two scales of life quality and self-efficacy.

there was an existence of a positive correlation between life quality and self-efficacy.

in light of the results, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions.
