The aim of the research is to monitor the most important features of the role of social networks in the development of national belonging among young people.

The descriptive approach was used to monitor the dimensions of the subject through the research literature and previous studies; Where the concept of social networks was reviewed, and the most important of these networks and their features, and the services they provide, were explained.

He presented the concept of affiliation, and the distinction between it and loyalty, as well as highlighting the relationship between affiliation and alienation.

The concept of the homeland, which represents the house in which the person resides and represents a moral embodiment of the individual's experience over the years, was also referred to.

Then he presented the concept of national affiliation, which refers to the individual's affiliation to his homeland, through a moral bond between the individual and the homeland that makes him interact with him in word and deed, and is ready to support him and defend him with everything he owns.

The most important features of the role of social networks in the development of national belonging as they represent the new media in this era, through their contribution to the development of virtual citizenship, political participation, intellectual security, and the development of social responsibility for young people from several aspects; Where the development of self-responsibility (personal), religious and moral responsibility, collective responsibility, and national responsibility.
