Abstract EN

This research represents an attempt to study a survey-descriptive media targeting a specific audience (the audience of Diyala Governorate) and the extent of its reception of commercial advertisements shown on Iraqi satellite channels, as well as shedding light on the patterns and trends of recipients' exposure to advertisements via Iraqi satellite channels and revealing the potential effects of satellite advertisements on the public, and this is considered Research is a descriptive research, as this type of research method allows for an expansion in the process of collecting information and data, making comparisons and building conclusions.

he research reached a set of results, including that the levels of the Lavidge & Steiner formula, which were adopted in the study to know the opinions and tendencies of the recipients, for this advertisement have achieved an acceptance rate that ranged between (60-80%) and at the various six levels, as for the positive values, which fall within The preference and conviction of services, we find that there is a superiority of the positive values reflected in the advertisements of Iraq TV over the negative values contained in the advertisement of Al-Rasheed (the first) channel, which indicates that the advertisements displayed on Iraq TV are taken into account for social responsibility.
