The study aimed to identify the effect of classroom observation using lesson note on developing meditative teaching practices with mathematics teachers in the sultanate of Oman.
to achieve the study goal, the researcher used the semi-experimental, one-group approach, where supervisory visits were carried out for teachers using the lesson note application, with two visits for each male and female teacher, and direct feedback was provided.
meditative teaching practices standard was used in the study, and its validity was verified by presenting it to a group of arbitrators.
its stability has been confirmed by applying it to a survey sample and calculating the value of the stability factor for internal consistency purposes, which amounted to (0.94).
the study sample consisted of (23) male and female mathematics teachers in al-Dakhliya governorate in the sultanate of Oman.
the study results showed that the degree of meditative practices among mathematics teachers was high, and no statistically significant differences were found, according to two variables: gender or years of teaching experience.
the study recommended making use of the lesson note application in the educational supervision process, to develop and reinforce the positive aspects of teachers in meditative teaching practices.
