Abstract EN

This article aims to address the development of film criticism in the code of modern Arab literature.

after the real birth of film art by louis lumiere in 1895ad, the list topped many headings about the close relationship between literature and cinema on interesting topics and debates in advanced and civilized societies.

we do not dispute the truth if we say that the relationship between literature and cinema is historical and ancient, but it is newly circulated.

therefore, we often see that this relationship has managed to attract the attention of the film community from the west to the east and the Arab world.

thus, the filmmakers were able to achieve a large audience base and a brilliant commercial success.

the study employs the descriptive analytical approach.

the emergence and development of film criticism in the world, and its entry into modern Arabic literature code and the focus on part of modern novel works have made them parallel film works, or rather literary works presented on television .
