Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is s to test the impact of the adoption of the financial liberalization approach represented in interest rates on domestic investment in Algeria during the period (0991-2020).

This analysis based on the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL), using annual data on economic variables representing financial liberalization along with interest rates, these variables have been determined based on previous studies which consist the interest rate, loans to the private sector as a proportion of GDP, government expenditure; The empirical results revealed that the nterest rate on deposits was reversed with domestic investment in short and long term, while both private sector loans and government spending had a positive impact on investment after their signification was established only in the long term..
