This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of social media platforms at the educational level in the Technical College of management / Baghdad, and was used descriptive analytical method, to suit the purposes of the research, a questionnaire was distributed to a random sample of (50) students were randomly selected from the Department students information technology, consisting of three axes distributed over (19) items, and verified the validity and reliability of the tool and the use of statistical program SPSS and statistical processors for data processing and statistical treatments: percentages and analysis of variance single, correlation coefficient Alpha Kronbach, and The most significant results of this research are the significant effect of the independent variable (social media platforms) on the dependent variable (education), where the coefficient of interpretation (0.66% ), which is the impact of the independent variable and the rest (0.34% ) due to Other variables.

This proves the strength of the variable social media platforms and its positive impact on the results.

The most prominent recommendations were to encourage students and faculty and all those who have an active role in the educational process to conduct more researches on the possibility of activating the use of social media platforms in education and focus on Iraq.
