Abstract EN

The study aimed to investigate the extent to which the English language teachers of the basic stage practice active learning strategies according to the variables of gender, years of experience, and academic qualification.

the study population consisted of all (450) teachers of English for the basic stage in the directorate of education of the Qweismeh brigade in the capital, Amman.

a male and female teacher, and the study sample consisted of (208) male and female teachers, and they were chosen randomly.

to achieve the goal of the study, the questionnaire tool was used after ensuring its validity and reliability.

the descriptive survey method was also used; as the most appropriate curriculum for study purposes.

the results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the extent to which English language teachers practiced active education strategies for the basic stage due to the effect of gender, years of experience, and educational qualification.
