This study aims to identify the extent of applying quality standards and academic accreditation to the development of individual and institutional performance and to improve education outcomes in Jordanian public universitiest because the application of total quality management is a way out to make university educational services able to meet the needs and requirements of society and the Jordanian local marked as well as improving and developing performance and qualifying students in a manner that leads to these outputs being of high qualityt where five basic hypotheses were tested in this studyt and these hypotheses addressed the five main elements of total quality management and the questionnaire method was used To collect the necessary data through consisting of (230) sample of faculty members were selected randomly.
The sincerity of the study tool was tested by relying on the opinions of twelve specialistsc and the stability of the study tool was tested using the correlation coefficient and the results of the study showed that Jordanian public universities attached primary importance to two main elements: social responsibility c and a focus on workers in Jordanian government universities c and showed The study also states that Jordanian public universities pay more clear attention to three elements of total quality management which is the organizational culture of Jordanian government universities and focus on developing and improving the educational process.

The recommendations of this study were the necessity for Jordanian public universities to adopt all elements of total quality management in all components of the university educational system
