The study aims to determine the impact of technological development on the output of the non-oil sectors in the Libyan economy.

to achieve this goal, the quantitative analytical approach was relied upon using statistical programs that serve this purpose.

the findings of the study indicate that the relative change in technical development has the greatest impact on the changes that occur in the output of the non-oil sectors in the Libyan economy.

they showed that the technical development showed a bias towards the labour component, which indicates two effects that the change in the technical development can achieve in the product through the direct and indirect effect through work.

in addition, the findings indicate that labour and technical development have a strong relationship with output that outweighs the relationship between output and physical capital.
