Abstract EN

The study aimed to measure the impact of quality assurance (QA) in terms of (inputs quality, operations quality, and quality audit) in the performance of Jordanian private universities in terms of (quality of student’s outputs, creativity and innovation, scientific research, and community service) and top management support as a moderator.

the study population consisted of the (4) private Jordanian universities in the northern region.

the study sample consisted of deans and heads of academic departments working in these universities, as their number reached (140) members.

the study used the descriptive and analytical approach and the questionnaire as a data collection tool.

the questionnaire was distributed depending on the comprehensive survey method to the members of the study sample.

where (132) questionnaires were recovered, and (128) of them were valid for statistical analysis.

based on the results of statistical analysis, the study found out that there is a high level of quality assurance implementation, as well as a high level of top management support to (QA) programs in the private Jordanian universities operating in the northern region.

and that there is a statistically significant impact of (QA) in the universities performance, and the study also found that top management support improved the impact of (QA) in the performance of private Jordanian universities.in light of these results, the study recommended maintaining the implementation of the quality assurance system while providing all kinds of top management support to guarantee the sustainability of the services quality.
