The study aimed to test the impact of cognitive abilities with its dimensions(leadership, empowering workers, communication and influence, problem solving, decision making) in enhancing strategic awareness of its dimensions (holistic perspective, organizational thinking, smart opportunities, and future vision) in the general company for manufacturing of medicines and medical supplies in Samarra and the study population consisted of the general company for the manufacture of medicines and medical supplies in Samarra, Iraq.
where the inspection unit consisted of all managers and heads of departments and supervisors working in the general company for the manufacture of medicines and medical supplies in Samarra, and they numbered (170) employees, depending on the human resources department in the researched company and the comprehensive survey was used, and (159) questionnaires returned to study were retrieved.
the study reached a number of results, the most important of which was the presence of a positive impact of strategic intelligence on dimensions (leadership, empowerment of workers, communication and influence, decision-making) in enhancing strategic awareness.
as for solving problems, it has no effect in enhancing strategic awareness, that is, its effect is apparent and not moral.
in light of these results, the study recommended a number of recommendations, the most important of which was to continue to support the dimensions of knowledge capabilities more than it is in decision-making and managing risks facing the organization and describe the risks, threats and opportunities in a way that helps managers in determining the programs and policies of the organization, which makes the organization able to deal with future challenges and provides opportunities to enhance the organization and its success.
creative ideas, whether from managers or employees, by linking them to the results of market analysis based on cognitive abilities to provide innovative solutions to customer needs.
