Abstract EN

This article aims to clarify Allah’s creation of Humans’ actions and its relationship to human freedom according to the early Sufis.

Man is created having capacity and will.

Every person has absolute freedom to do what he wants whenever he wants and how he wants, but all of this is with Allah's knowledge and will, and nothing can be done except with His knowledge: “Whatever He wants He does, and whatever He doesn’t want will never be done.” The study discusses the concept of exact creation of acts of worship and freedom in the early Sufis, whose approach to belief does not differ from that of the predecessors.

They have all agreed that Man is free and has the choice in his actions having the right to do as he wishes.

Man is not obliged or forced to do anything, and whatever he does is with Allah’s knowledge and prescience.

However, Allah has given Man the ability, will and freedom with which he can perform these chosen actions, without being forced or compelled.
