Academic systems of higher education do not differ in considering the doctorate as the highest university scientific degree, some of which may require the necessity of passing a competition.

Algeria's current higher education system (LMD) is one of them unlike what was applied in the previous classical system, where it was enough to register directly for the magister's degree, and express interest in continuing an academic and scientific career.

in this context, the Algerian legislator has kept pace with the process of changing the system of higher education by promulgating several legal texts, particularly with regard to the organization of the doctoral contest, highlighted in this article to learn about the conditions required at the university organizing this event, and in the undergraduate student who will pass it.
