This study aims to determine and assess the reservations and interpretative declarations of the United Arab Emirates about international conventions on human rights.

therefore, the study determines the reservation and the interpretative declarations of the UAE, as well as the position of other states towards them.

the study then assesses these reservations and interpretative declarations in terms of validity and permissibility.

it concludes that the UAE reservations and interpretative declarations are valid and enforceable, as no state has objected to their enforcement.

the study also recommends the need to determine reservations and declarations and to avoid general reservations.
