Education in general and higher education in particular are among the most important pillars of the knowledge economy and society, where higher education institutions play a key role in maximizing the knowledge capacity of the community in research, use and application through the exercise of its functions of teaching (dissemination of knowledge), scientific research (knowledge production), and community service (the application of knowledge); However, the success of these institutions, in preparing qualified human capital for production, developing its creative capabilities, and raising the level of its qualification to meet the various needs of society in terms of sustainable development, in all social, human, economic and cultural fields, requires them to pay attention to the issue of ensuring the quality of higher education , especially since success in its application as a concept and practice constitutes the basic building block for the application of the total quality management approach and access to global reliability.
