Abstract EN

The agrarian reform is a set of legislative and application measures undertaken by the authorities with the intention of bringing about changes in the rights to dispose of agricultural lands and improving the methods of their exploitation, which means that the agrarian reform aims to solve two problems, namely distribution and production.

Deep in the main issue is the fact that democracy cannot succeed and flourish under a system in which ownership is concentrated in the hands of a small group of individuals.

With regard to the agricultural situation, the urgent need for a radical agrarian reform in the conditions of the Iraqi countryside in general, whether in terms of agricultural ownership or the condition of the peasants' living and economic conditions, and the services provided to them in terms of education, health, etc., all of this was in need of immediate reform and change to serve these farmers, in addition to that.

The deep hatred of feudalism that engendered among the peasants, especially after the government’s oppression of the peasant uprisings that took place in the fifties for the benefit of the feudal lords .
