Because of social, political and economic transformations in Europe, modern sociology emerged to answer many questions and explain the problems that resulted from these transformations.

Today, Sociology faces new challenges caused by changes that have emerged in our societies, similar to th> I in the nineteenth century Europe.

made many researchers express their skepticism and doubts about the future of; ore, this study tried to shed light on the future of social theory through: 1- Social theory's focus on "social action" from models of determinism to models of agency, 2- "post modernism" to the return of the "actor", 3-The relationship between "social action" and "actor" and the dichotomy that ruled sociology and social theory through their history.

Finally, the study presented the new paradigm of Alain Touraine that focuses on the cultural side and individuality, which declares a new era that Q has Cultural Rights and Individuality as its title.
