Abstract EN

The present study aims to test the effectiveness of the grammatical structure of the Arabic language in forming concepts.

Avalid and reliable tool was constructed for the purposes of the study.

It contained in its first section three concepts and three characteristics of each.

It is presented in two ways, the first: the concept is presented in it in the way it appears in the Arabic language, i.e.

the name of the thing (i.e.

the subject of the concept) first, followed by the adjectives second.

And the second: by the way in which it is presented in some foreign languages, i.e.

adjectives first, followed by the concept (subject) thing secondly.

As for the second section of the tool, it consists of (4) questions, which ask the respondent to specify a degree: clarity, ease, speed of conceptual image formation and speed of recall, on a scale of (1-10).

The results showed that the students ’overall assessment of the formation of the concept as presented by the Arabic language had an average of (37.9), which is close to the highest degree theoretically possible to obtain, which is (40).

It falls within the high level of (33-40).

It was also found that all the averages regarding the effectiveness of grammatical construction in the Arabic language in the sub-domains, namely: clarity of concept formation, speed, ease of formation, and recollection, have obtained averages higher than (9), and their proximity to the highest score that can be obtained (10).

All fall into the high level of (9-10).
