Abstract EN

This paper dealt with the already suspicious letters and studied them in terms of the reason for their name, origin, work, meanings and connotations, all of this was explained through the descriptive analytical approach.

the paper came out with several results, the most important of which are : 1-these letters were called muthabihah, because of their resemblance to the verb in the number of their letters and their movements, and the inclusion of the noun of prevention on them.

2-it became clear through the research that most of these letters are compound.

and not simple.

3-these letters do not enter every nominal sentence, but there are conditions for their entry.
