This study dealt with the role of women in the poetry of the thug.

Women had a lot of luck with poetry in the pre-Islamic era, as we hardy touch a poet of this era, but we find that he has dealt with women in his poetry, either describing of admiring her, and among the tramp poets Urwa Ibn Al-Ward, who is nicknamed Prince of tramps, among the objectives of this study is introducing the poet, knowing his artistic characteristics, and knowing the role of women in the poetry of tramps, the researchers followed the descriptive approach, and the study reached results, including: that Urwa Ibn Al-Ward is a trampled poet and not a tramp, artistic styles of Arabic poetry.
