Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the site of these lands with their astronomical, natural and relative elements, to study the site characteristics of these areas, and to draw explanatory maps that show their natural characteristics using geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing (RS).

The descriptive and analytical approach used in the study concluded that: these lands that reach its area (610) km2 has been deducted in the form of separate islands from each other, and its location is marginal and extreme in relation to the desired Palestinian state on the 1967 borders.

It also lacks the necessary resources and capabilities, which the population needs for human activity, and which does not allow any economic and human activity because of its climatic conditions.

These conditions have been reflected on the plant and agricultural life there.

The study also recommended not to accept any land exchange, except after an in-depth study of the natural characteristics of any area that is proposed, and not to deal with Israeli maps.
