The study aimed to identify the degree to which women leaders practice administrative empowerment in the general administration of education in the Qassim region in its dimensions: (delegation of authority, effective communication, independence, development, training, and motivation), and to identify the obstacles that limit the practice of women leaders for administrative empowerment in the general administration of education in the region.
Al- Qassim from the point of view of the female educational supervisors, according to the study variables: (years of experience in the profession - specialization - its education office).
The study used the descriptive survey method, and used a questionnaire, to collect information and data, and it consisted of (209) supervisors.
The study concluded that the degree of women leaders’ practice of the dimensions of administrative empowerment in the general administration of education in the Qassim region from the point of view of the supervisors was largely achieved, as the dimension of delegation of authority came first in the degree of practice, followed by the dimension of effective communication, then the dimension of independence, then the dimension of development and training The stimulus dimension came in fifth place.
The study also found that the obstacles that limit women leaders' practice of the dimensions of administrative empowerment are achieved to a moderate degree, as the dimension of organizational obstacles came in the first place, followed by the dimension of social obstacles, and came in the last place after the personal obstacles.
The results also found that there were statistically significant differences in the responses of the study sample members about the degree to which women leaders practiced the dimensions of empowerment in two dimensions (professional development and effective communication); It is due to the different years of experience in the field of supervision, while there are no statistically significant differences in the responses of the study sample members with regard to two dimensions (independence and delegation of authority); It is due to the different years of experience in the field of supervision, and there are no differences due to the difference in specialization and the education office affiliated to it.
It also found that there are statistically significant differences in the responses of women leaders to identifying the obstacles that limit the practice of women leaders to the dimensions of administrative empowerment, with regard to the dimension of organizational, social and personal obstacles.
They are due to the different years of experience in the field of supervision, and the dimension of social obstacles due to the difference in the education office affiliated to it, while there are no statistically significant differences in the responses of the study sample members due to the difference in specialization.
The study recommended giving women leaders more independence, and working to provide women leaders in education departments with all the information needed to make decisions, and giving them greater decision-making power.
