In view of the modern technological progress and the resulting technologies in various fields, especially education Which led to a change and a shift in the teacher’s job, the traditional job of giving lessons that depend on the indoctrination process, As there has become an urgent need to prepare lessons interactively and digitally, which requires the teacher to acquire special skills and knowledge in this, The study sought to know the extent to which teachers in Mafraq district possess the skills and knowledge necessary to employ modern technology applications, And what are their attitudes towards it? The study relied on the quality of the descriptive study in which the survey method was employed, and the questionnaire was used in this study, and it was distributed to (375) single teachers in schools in Mafraq district using a random sampling method, and the study came out with a set of results, which we include as follows: 1.
Among the most important skills and knowledge of modern technology possessed by the teachers of Mafraq district are: Dealing with electronic education systems (E- Learning) and using them effectively.
2.
The most prominent trends of Mafraq district teachers towards employing technology applications in teaching is that it helps to increase students' interaction and involvement in lessons.
3.
One of the most prominent obstacles to teachers’ possession of the skills and knowledge needed to employ modern technology applications is the lack of modern computers inside schools that allow employing modern technology applications in teaching.
