The aim of the research is to identify the effect of teaching biology using the Renzuli model on fourth-grade students learning critical thinking skills.

They studied according to the Renzuli model and the average scores of the students of the control group who studied according to the usual method in the critical thinking test.

The method adopted the experimental research as a research method, as the experimental design with two equal groups, the experimental and the control group with post-test in critical thinking, were chosen, one of which partially controlled the other.

The experiment was applied to the students of Okaz School for Boys in the fourth scientific grade.

They were chosen randomly from the first Rusafa schools, the number of its members was (52) students, and they were divided into two classes.

Division A was chosen by random assignment to represent the experimental group that was studied using the Renzuli model, and Division B was chosen to represent the control group that I studied according to the usual way.

To test the validity of the null hypothesis, the researcher prepared the critical thinking test, which included five sub-tests, and the total test consists of (30) positions distributed equally among the five sub-tests, and each position includes (3) paragraphs, and thus the total of the total test items is (90) items, and it was applied to Two exploratory samples not from the main research sample, the first was intended to know the clarity of the test paragraphs and determine the time to answer them and confirm the validity of the test by the agreement of a number of arbitrators.

Using the T-test, the following results were obtained: The students of the experimental group who studied according to the Renzuli model outperformed the students of the control group who studied according to the usual method in the critical thinking test, as the (t-test) of favoritism reached (2,67).

From these results, the researcher concluded that teaching using the Renzuli model has an impact on students’ learning of critical thinking skills.

Accordingly, the researcher made a number of recommendations and suggestions related to the research results.
