The School of Imam Bel Arab bin Sultan Al-Yarubi in Husn Jabrin in the Second Halfofthe 17th Century AD This £tudy aimed at introducing the personality oflmam ^el Arab bin Sultan, his scientific contributions, introducing his school, and its impact on the scientific and literary arena, and identifying aspects of the features of this school, its teaching mechanisms, and its mo& important achievements.

The &udy included: an introduction, nine demands, and a conclusion.

And it came out with the mo& important results: The reason for the flourishing of the scientific movement in Oman during the period ofthe Ya’ariba State depended on three main factors; The interest of the Ya’ariba imams in the scientific aspect, economic prosperity, and security.

The Imam Bel Arab Bin Sultan School was able to highlight its achievements to be a beacon over time, a civilized school that can be used in building, operating and managing educational institutions, and a model in their organization and the quality of their outputs, which have greatly contributed to the scientific, cultural and literary movement in Oman.
