Abstract EN

This paper intended to highlight the impacts of Corona virus pandemic on some macroeconomic indicators.

Findings show that the spread of the virus has a negative impact through the decrease of the economic growth rate, the increase of unemployment and inflation rate, and the decrease of personal and government consumption.

Moreover, there was a decrease in tourism revenues, decrease in the foreign direct investment as a result of the strong link between the shock and investment project delay around the world.

The study recommended that there is a requirement to establish long-term prevention policies, providing workers with subventions, finding resources to cover citizens' awareness costs, and enhancing preventive measure processes to stop the virus spread.
