Malaysia was able to present a successful experience as a development country during a period of time that did not exceed thirty years, transforming from an agricultural country that depends on the production and export of raw materials to one of the most important industrial countries in the world, where sustainable social development has been achieved through social solidarity institutions, especially the Zakat and Endowments institutions.

Then the study presents the relationship of zakat and endowments to social solidarity, the developmental role of endowments and zakat, and the developmental role of solidarity companies in achieving social development, and finally presents the lessons learned from the Malaysian experience in the field of social solidarity.
