Abstract EN
The general idea that underpins Grice's analysis, rather than the specifics of his research, is what makes his work so important.
As Grice has shown, a great variety of seemingly arbitrary semantic facts can be interpreted as implications of quite full pragmatic constraints given a sufficient number of pragmatic principles, of which Grice's conversational maxims provide a first approximation.
The core notion of this position is compelling, and we've employed it in previous investigations.
However, if any further progress is to be made, it looks that considerable changes to its characteristics will be required.
The goal of this research is to explore if Grice's maxims and the collaboration notion can be used to explain and analyze specific apraxia outcomes in children.
According to a prior study, flouting can be used to great effect in comedy.
The investigation will be divided into four components.
The Grice theory's speaking act will be the topic of the first chapter.
In the second chapter, the Grice concept will be expanded upon.
In the third and fourth chapters, the methodologies, findings, and outcomes of children's conversations will be examined.
