Combating the worst forms of child labor at the international level still poses a great challenge, as it is a complex task that requires great efforts, integrated, and coordinated with some given by all stakeholders, starting from decision makers to institutions and reaching employers and workers, children and adults as well as their family and the communities in which they live.

In order to achieve a comprehensive approach to eliminating child labor in stressful work, the International Labor Organization, through its International Program for the Elimination of Child Labor, has worked on a hierarchical structure consisting of three strategies: prevention, withdrawal and protection, the first objective of which is to intervene to address the various causes child labor.
