Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the core of developing the administrative performance of general secondary school principals in the light of the participatory management approach.

the study sample consisted of (352) principals, agents, teachers, specialists, and administrators, and the results of the study showed developing the administrative performance of the principals of general secondary schools in the light of the participatory management approach to the dimensions of human relations and delegation of powers, which were medium and in proportions.

(68.5%) and (69.2%), respectively, while their practice of participation in decision-making was weak with a percentage of (59.1%).

the viewpoint of principals, agents, teachers, specialists, administrators and workers towards the practice of general secondary school principals in Qena governorate varied.

the dimensions of participatory management for the development of administrative performance, while the effect of the educational management variable was statistically significant, and one of the most preferred proposals from the point of view of managers, agents, teachers, specialists, administrators and workers for the development of administrative performance in light of the dimensions of participatory management is (working to develop the spirit of responsibility among employees, justice and objectivity when distributing tasks between employees, providing special training programs for school principals on the participatory management approach, and providing the necessary information to the worker to ensure the success of the participation process, to set fair and transparent standards for the participation of staff in the school administration, to stimulate the teamwork method within the school, in addition to strengthening human relations and creating mutual trust between the principal and staff).
