Abstract EN

The observer of the reality of religious practices among Algerian youth realizes that there are multiple religious behaviors among young people, and cannot be limited to one pattern, by noting some non-uniform behaviors across mosques and the presence of different religious tendencies and trends among individuals, as a result of looking at more than one source of religious knowledge, where the study aims to know the impact of the media on the religiosity of young people, or rather the size of the changes that modern media wrought on the religiosity of young people in contemporary societies, taking the Algerian society as a model for the field study, trying to monitor the changes that occurred in the religious upbringing of Algerian youth.

is the media and communication considered as new approaches that displace and compete with traditional institutions (the family, the mosque, the school) in acquiring a religious upbringing for young people, or does this category derive its knowledge and acquire its religious behavior from traditional institutions ?.
