Abstract EN

This research aimed at identifying the level of psychological security and its relationship with quality of life among Yemeni refugees children in Egypt.

The research also aimed at identifying the differences in the level of psychological security and quality of life among the sample of the research due to the variables of (gender, age, and length of stay).

The research depended on the Analysis descriptive method.

The sample of the research consisted of (122) children; (56) males, and (66) females, their ages ranging from (11-17) years.

To achieve the aims of the study, the researcher used psychological security and quality of life scales (preparing: the researcher).

The results of the research showed that the level of psychological security was low while the level of quality of life was average.

The results also indicated that there was statistically significant negative correlation relationship between psychological security and quality of life.

The results of the research also indicated that there were statistically significant differences in the level of psychological security among Yemeni refugee children in Egypt due to the age variable in favor of children in the age group (15- 17) years, and there were no statistically significant differences due to the variable of sex, length of stay, in addition to there were no statistically significant differences in the level of quality of life due to the gender variable in all dimensions of the quality of life scale, except psychological quality of life, where the differences were in favor of males.

And there were statistically significant differences due to the age variable in the dimensions of psychological and school life quality, and the total degree of quality of life, where the differences were in favor of the youngest age group (11-14) years, while there were no statistically significant differences in the quality of family and social life quality dimensions, in addition to there were no statistically significant differences in the level of quality of life due to the variable length of stay.
